A photographer, creative, entrepreneur and the person who will tell you what to do with your hands.
For more than 15 years, I’ve helped people feel comfortable in front of my camera. My approach brings together thoughtful direction, natural light and an eye for the moments that happen when you start to relax.

Hey, I’m Ashleigh. Let’s get comfortable.
I’m a Maryland-based photographer, creative, entrepreneur and Global Travel Host, born and raised in Prince George’s County. Photography is one of the ways I connect with people and help them tell their stories.
Whether we’re celebrating a chapter of your life or creating images for your business, I take time to understand what matters to you. From planning the details to guiding your poses, I’m there to help you feel confident and supported.
Beyond the camera, you’ll find me exploring another country, bringing travelers together or learning something new. I’ve played violin, clarinet and alto saxophone and recently added drum lessons to the list.
I’m curious by nature and love a good conversation. Getting to know you is one of my favorite parts of the work.
My story
It started with my dad’s camera.
Growing up, my dad always had a camera and I was drawn to the way photographs could hold onto a moment. That curiosity stayed with me. When I imagined my dream job, the answer was always a traveling photographer.
After being laid off, I decided to give that dream a real chance. More than 15 years later, photography has introduced me to people, places and stories I never could have planned for.
My work today centers on lifestyle and branding: helping people document their lives and helping business owners share what they’re building.
My approach

The more comfortable you feel, the more of your personality we can bring into the photographs. I take time to understand what matters to you, offer clear direction and notice when we need to adjust, move or take a breath.
I love natural light, honest expressions and photographs that still feel like you when you look back at them.

I’m awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely—me too! I know how awkward it can feel to be on the other side of the camera. I’ll tell you what to do with your hands, where to look and how to move. You don’t have to come knowing how to pose. That’s what I’m here for.
Can you help me choose what to wear?
Yes. We’ll talk about your location, the feeling you want for your photographs and the looks you’re considering. For branding sessions, we’ll also consider how your wardrobe works with your brand and the way you plan to use the images.
Where will the session take place?
We’ll choose a location that suits your session and the images you want to create. I’m based in Maryland and work throughout Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. Travel inquiries are welcome.
What’s the difference between a full session and a mini session?
A full session allows more time and customization, including planning around your ideas and different looks. Mini sessions are shorter and take place on select dates at a predetermined location. The best choice depends on what you want to create.
What can I expect to invest in my session?
Your investment includes thoughtful planning and personal guidance to help you feel prepared and confident. Custom sessions include professional makeup application for one person, location and what-to-wear guides as well as detailed posing guidance throughout. From choosing the setting to knowing what to do with your hands, you’ll have support every step of the way.
Headshot sessions begin at $900, with branding and lifestyle sessions beginning at $1,800. Seasonal mini sessions offer a shorter experience with select inclusions, beginning at $450 when available.
We’ll discuss your needs and walk through exactly what’s included before you book.
I need business photos, but I’m not sure whether to book headshots or branding.
Headshots are a good fit when you primarily need updated professional portraits. A branding session gives you more variety to communicate your work across your website and marketing. Tell me where you plan to use the images and I’ll help you choose.
Do you still photograph weddings?
I accept a limited number of intimate and micro weddings on a case-by-case basis. Share your date, location and plans so we can talk about availability and fit.
